his build is very impressive for sure. I took his build and tailored it to my budget, so we will see what happens when I start up.
I have a complete core I bought, in my garage that I will start to play with over this winter and maybe get a long block to have a spare for my son and I. it doesn't take up much space on the engine stand in the corner of the garage. just for reference I purchased two core motors that needed the blocks machined 30 over for $75 each. the heads were shot but I knew that going into them that's why I purchased the eagle heads. one thing to caution you on is what crank you chose from what years due to the tooth count. for the msd I needed to buy one version so I am stuck with the 32 tooth count going forward. not a big deal but worth mentioning.
