1-2 was straight back on my T/A. It would literally make the 1-2 shift on its own at times when I’d launch. It relied SOLELY on the rooster comb on the valve body as a detent.

1-3.... as long as you “hit” the shifter on the 1-2 it would work, but if you were not versed on that it was easily pulled through 2 down to 3.

I had both gates for my TA and used it a bit with my clean N brake before the PPP came along.
