All of this shifter crap has been a joke for a long time. It will make you a better builder. The ratio is ultra important on these cable shifters for ultimate reliability. The distance from the cable mount to the shift lever has to be perfect.


If I could figure out, or take the time to, post picts from my iPad I’d put em up! I actually used the ppp bracket as a template for where mine needed to be.... just using the handy rear ear on the trans. As big as pos the Turbo Action shifter was, at least they got the cable mounting point right!

I was fortunate to buy my clean N PPP used..... but after having it in the car a couple years I’ve really realized what a deal I got. It’s a great shifter!
