You can say that again.
But it gets worse. They recommend a 'fix' that routes all of the power to the run the car through two fusible links in series. tsk

The only thing it addresses, although poorly, is the problem created when running a winch or a plow. (These are usuallly tapped in at the battery because they draw so much power)
