Yeah you got it .. Its a demolition derby car.. I do a full season just like a dirt track racer or drag racer.. I know a lot of people look at is as hillbilly or such and don't take it seriously .. but you would be surprised at the guys that take it seriously and the level of competition..

So now with that out of the way.. A lot of us seasoned drivers hit the tires to take out a opponents mobility.. Such as why lateral force tolerance is important.. I have welded in the past with out a problem.. but this year i bought a new set of 4.30's so i did not want to take the chance on busting them up in case the spiders destructed..


So it leaves me with these 3 questions..

What would work better a old axle or the 1.5" long thrust block out of the stock differential?

And What is the proper way to adjust the axle end play, do the axle butt up tight against the spacer?

Do i want some play between the spacer and axels in my application?
