Not sure if this will apply but in a previous life I was a tech for a road racing team which also serviced German cars to pay the bills. We belonged to the local clubs and throughout the year they would have amature track events. These events were deemed some sort of a "Drivers Ed" progam by the insurance company. Not sure but maybe there's another loop hole for your case if you're worried. Or atleast something to look into. Not sure how it worked or if I'm remembering it exactally. This was also 12 plus years ago and things may have changed or my memory is bad. Keep in mind these were weekend warrior race events not in anyway a drivers ed program. A few cars were wrecked as well. Maybe someone here is in insurance and knows a little more about this.
