Let me try and explain... An aluminum front plate , lets say 5/16 of 6061 T6 and a midplate made of relatively mild steel and a POLY trans mount on a 900 HP backhalved Challenger, there is NO NEED for limiter straps.. providing you have a STOUT block ( world castings) and a 727 trans with a TRUCK tailshaft housing.. with a POLY mount... Tightened up properly, it shouldn't twist up much at all.. The whole thing twisting up as a unit (including whatever the "body does") is MINIMAL ,,to say the least... There's about .004 clearance for the "basically body fit" 3/8 hold down bolts,,, and if it WAS TWISTING UP, I would lose the almost PERFECT line up when removing and reinstalling the motor plates... I'm NOT a chassis builder by any means,, I just have mine setup that way and it works FINE without any limiters... I think,, in MY SETUP,,, the limiters are a waste of time and money...
