Put it in 2nd before you even roll into the water. 2nd gear, rev it. Shift to 3rd, maintain RPM. Get your thumb off the switch as soon as it's up on the tire and drive it out onto the dry concrete while rolling into the throttle some to keep it spinning. That's what builds heat. Lift before it catches. Put it in the beams.
