Narrow it down a few different ways.
Use How will this engine be used? Drag race only, car shows only, every day its nice, long distance.
TuningHow much fine tuning are you planning on? It runs, that's good enough. Chasing the best e.t and mph. Best mpg on the cruise.
Install comfort Are you looking for a straight up plug and chug or willing to do wire tracing and custom work? If plug and chug, what's the starting point? Wired for points or wired for Chrysler ECU.
Failure Mode If it fails, how do you prefer it to go down? Don't care, I'm calling AAA or equivalent. Gonna call my Guru. Gonna rig it on the side of the road myself with a gum wrapper. Want to be able to walk in any parts store and get a replacement off the shelf. Etc...
Going to be all of the above except for the racer. May take it to the track and see what it runs. I would like to have one that has a rev limiter incase I miss a gear with the six speed. Was thinking of going with the FOB or Revenator. I just read where the FOB is all made in the USA now with a 5 year warranty. Just trying to figure out which is more dependable.
