Wonder if this will have any impact on the price of OEM blocks. Some of the guys in my area think a 74' 440 is made out of 24k gold.
Doubtful, considering it is missing the tell-tale flat ID pad on the front of the block casting. No resto guy will want a Hemi that looks like a 383 block with auxiliary oil pump block off plugs.
Who cares about them. The "resto" guys have ruined this hobby.
I blame the companies who are remaking parts. Rather than make $10 off 100 people, they want $100 off 10 people. But that's business, if it bothered me enough I'd be making OE dashboards and grills in my basement.
