Not many guys are pushing the stock block. Too many say it won't take anything past 600hp. That may be the case but we ran stock block over 10 years and several of those years we leaned on the nitrous pretty hard pushing car 138-40 in 1/8th. We are retiring it now and building a r3 with w9rp's for the duster. I will however be putting a new set of Pistons in it and have it fresh just in case the new build has any problems.
