Hey Johnrr! how ya doing! LTNS!! Ive been enjoying the crap out of my hellcat so I havent been around here much.

As for my issue, I can see the crack in the weld. I saw it before but figured it was good enough. I was wrong.

As for milling out a recessed area- ya that would have worked but I figured the weld was good enough. I used the standard Fel Pro gasket that was open to the cross over port. Im still in tear down mode. I changed out the head gasket on that one side (drivers) with a Mr. Gasket 1121 (not the 1121G but the older white style) and since this is a .028" thick gasket replacing the Fel pro 1008 (.042" thick), I'll have to remove the passenger side head and replace that gasket as well.

I bought the mopar P4186569 intake gasket with the steel block off plate for the rebuild

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
