You need to know how to shop. Parts that aren't in the catalogue are sometimes seriously discounted when they finally want to get rid of them. When one of my co workers was rebuilding his 5.9 Magnum engine, we found Gen II Viper rod/piston assemblies with rings and bearings for $32.00 each. Same rod as Magnum, flat top, no eyebrow pistons, which made it slightly higher compression than Magnum piston. Works fine. Still running today. I bought a set of MP 4.500 bore by 4.500 stroke forged pistons for $225. Last set available.
