It depends if you are considering going with TBI or multi port. The next low buck one I do will use a Magnum MPFI top end with a Microsquirt computer to run it. The parts for these are plentiful and the only snag is changing the heads over. Once that is done, you have a fully tunable solution and a better top end to boot. For the TBI system I have running, I found an old Holley Pro-Jection system on Craigslist for $200, and scavenged the parts from that. There are several options depending how crazy you want to get.
