A couple weeks ago I went racing with my friend. He has been running the same 78 Z28 Camaro for 25 years.
It's a drag car and he has always run slicks. The car is a 10.80 car.
He bought a set of MT ET street radials 275x60x15's.
He installed them and went racing. His first pass was a 10.75 et @ 126 mph. He pulled the tires much higher than ever before. About 2 ft in the air. On the second pass the 12 bolt Chevy rear left loose about 30ft out.
He's now planning on installing a dana 60 but loves the Mickey Thompson Drag radials. The first and only pass on them was his quickest and fastest pass in 25 years with just a tire change.
I've heard the Pro's are a big improvement over the regular ET Street Radials.
