From personal experiences, over the years, I've found out that my car will not hook on the street, with or without radials. I have been running, for the past 10 years or so, a 345/55r15 BFG drag radial on the street, but for no other reason than cosmetics.(this tire is no longer made, so I don't know which way I'll go next year when it's time to replace them)?. The big tire just looks good under the car. At the track, I run a bias ply Hoosier slick, 29 12X15.
I'll say one thing for sure. You WILL NOT get a stick car, that's making any kind of power, to hook with a radial tire. Again, my
