Why oh why do people skimp in one of the most critical areas in hp and dependability is beyond me..............

What???!!! You mean it doesn't make sense that since NOS is one of the least expensive ways to add HP, that I shouldn't install the least expensive system I can find?

Make little or no upgrades to the fuel system, or the rest of the drive line components to handle the extra HP because this is supposed to be "cheap" HP?

Make little or no upgrades to the safety equipment on the car for the new HP levels since I only use it when I try to go fast?

Break the car or motor by bumping the NOS jetting up for more HP than the kit is recommended for because I want to go faster for no more money?

Go on the internet and to car shows (since I now have to push my broken car) and tell everyone how bad and ridiculous NOS is?

Sorry, didn't mean to get off subject.

My 2-cents

If the system is to only be used occasionally, generally at stop lights with street tires to impress my friends, then I would just tee off the Holley black pump.

If I wanted to bolt on some slicks and try my hand once or twice at the strip, I would use a Hobbs switch (Low pressure switch) on the fuel system to shut off the NOS if the fuel pressure drops under 4psi. That way when the car runs, slows, runs, slows, runs, slows,.. while going down the track I would know I should upgrade the fuel system.

If I wanted to hang out at the weekly track Fun Night or bracket race regularly, or run more than the "125hp" pills. I would install a small front mounted fuel cell and separate pump for the NOS system.
