Koak is right. In 1975 Chrysler went to a higher horse power starter on all 8 cyl engines 360 cid and higher. The starter was 3/4 inch longer than the regular starter. Back in 75 while working for Chrysler, I let`s say got my hands on a brand new one out of a 75 Imperial and installed it in my 70 RR. The reason it sticks out in my mind is that I had to heat up any bend my header to accept the 3/4 inch longer starter.
