The reman starter on my 78 Fury sounds like a slant six starter. Every V8 from 1975 and up has a different sound than the 74-older. The older ones seem to crank slower and have more of a slant six sound to them. It drives me crazy. I dont want to put a mini starter on it. I want it to sound right. It bugs me that much! Can anyone explain this?
