The again thing is next Saturday - if you are racing the summit series. No excuse for things like the staging lane screw-ups - and not even having the lanes numbered. Bottom line, the racers ( who are paying the track wages ) got dumped on a bit. People that worked there knew they weren't ready. Gotta assume management did also.
I was trying to explain to management why they needed the "slick lane" access because the street tire cars had the lanes clogged up… but I have no idea if my "suggestions" were even heard. Unfortunately - there WILL be a learning curve. Hopefully we won't suffer thru too many mistakes as the new management learns what it's all about. They HAVE people who know how it's supposed to work - but there appears to be zero listening to them. Hopefully they will get the electronics and timeslip printer issues worked out in the next week.
