I went and walked the track this afternoon - while they were putting on a new set of slicks for the "rubbering-in" tractor - or whatever it's called. They have quite a bit of rubber down already and the horizontal striations in the concrete look like it will make it hook pretty well. The track is NOT all white and virgin concrete now. I'm sure after 300 cars descend on the track tomorrow night - it will get quite a bit of rubber down.

I'm betting I get 2 passes in 6 hours if nobody oils the track down.

I have my rig loaded and headed out the door as soon as I get off work tomorrow.
