I was told if you did that to raise octane, you need to use UNLEADED race fuel because the lead and ethanol do not mix right.

I dont know for fact.. we use to use unleaded because
thats all we had in the lab... or E-98 and most
of the time we used E-98 for blending(if we had
it at the time)... we normally had 1 drum of it..
but if someone used it and didnt tell me we were out
I didnt order it(unless I happened to check the drum room)
