Yes Mr. P your correct. Sometimes it less at the pump and if you tune your car for 85% it may run lean.



Actually the motor would be rich, not lean if the percentage was less than 85% and you were tuned for 85%.



I think he would be more concerned with detonation
with the lower octane(less ethanol)
