The cleverness was underway by '66, so it wouldn't surprise me if there were BBP discs for A-body cars with the same part # as the stock stuff, only handed out by a Chrysler rep or shipped to the shops. Here's a pic of Buzz Dyer's Javelin @ Monterey last year; he's owned it forever, and IIRC it was a Kaplan car. They let the quarters slide, but made him remove the dry sump (not period-correct for year of body), and not far into the event the motor blew, just as they did back in the day. Buzz was NOT happy.
