Sorry to send you in a potentially different direction, but there has been a thread on here (Moparts) regarding 'suede' paint. With a white interior, most metal parts would have been black suede(which is different than other colored interiors), however, wouldn't these parts have been suede painted? I believe so, but I am only an expert sometimes.
