The rotors will fit from 84-down. You can use the 4.5 axles from 84-down if you have a 81/4 rear the carrier is the same for those from 1966-1996 [as per Auburn Differential] If you have a 91/4 84' model axles are the key to the swap [according to the Chrysler parts catalog] A true 3/4 ton [1/2"lugs] does not have a pocketed control arm Trucks with 9/16"-5/8" lugs have a pocketed control arm. All vans 78-98 with 1/2" studs have pockets & correct size balljoints. Dakota Drop spindles & a balljoint reamer for the steering arm work. You ream from the opposite side so the tierods don't have to be turned over. A 3" drop spring for a 94up Ram will get you 2". The rear is up to you

. 79-84 not anything older. Bearings changed from the info iv found. 81-84 2wd trucks/rc's are 5x4.5 4wds went to 5.5 in 80. Aint nothing hard about changing rotors or a rear axle so if you want 4.5 its easily obtained. Try looking at Summit Racing for rims in the 5.5bp. Your buddy had to modify those rims or he used spacers
