agree but he is saying the center bolt is located forward 1.5 inches, therefore the need to move to forward location on spring perch.

If that is correct, then the rear shackle location will be moved forward also.

At any rate, somehow center the perch on the center bolt, at the desired location and verify shackle angle.

All will be good.
