I need to know if a 6.1 Hemi intake with throtle body will fit on a 5.7 Hemi thanks Francis.

Bolt pattern is the same, so bolting it on is the easy part.

Unfortunately that's where the easy stuff ends. There's a big port mismatch with any head older than 2009, and there isn't much room for the throttle body and intake hoses if a truck timing cover is used. There are modified truck timing covers available on some of the forums out there if a person wanted to go that route.

It would be better to swap 6.1 heads on at the same time as the intake, and use it with a passenger car timing cover...And if swapping 6.1 heads on to a 2005 and older 5.7, why not swap 6.1 valve covers and the better 6.1 coils on at the same time?

Here is a pic of one that has been modified. I have done it . It gets a little thin on the sides.

My motor is a 2009 vvt belive to be a truck engine with oil pick up in the back my intention was to go with a mod 6 pack but no body make a system to make it run I may go with factory fuel injected any sugestion thanks

since this is a 09 engine it has the Eagle heads they have the 6.1 size ports

that mean i can use a intake with throtle body off a 6.1 with tti heather any year 6.1 or 09 up thanks.
