Bolt pattern is the same, so bolting it on is the easy part.
Unfortunately that's where the easy stuff ends. There's a big port mismatch with any head older than 2009, and there isn't much room for the throttle body and intake hoses if a truck timing cover is used. There are modified truck timing covers available on some of the forums out there if a person wanted to go that route.
It would be better to swap 6.1 heads on at the same time as the intake, and use it with a passenger car timing cover...And if swapping 6.1 heads on to a 2005 and older 5.7, why not swap 6.1 valve covers and the better 6.1 coils on at the same time?
