THERE you go ... cheap and no seep ..

JUST make sure you have a straight and flat pan-rail and do NOT over-torque the bolts.

I have had the same CORK gasket on my 62 since the mid-70's ....had the pan off numerous? times .. no SEEP ...and cheap.

The new one, like what has been said. But not torqued to 150 inlbs or so as specified. I go about 80-100 inlbs.

Those do not work on all 727's there are differences in casting along the front sealing edge. Mine leaks from there and found out the deal from John Cope during his seminar, I am going back to a regular cork/neoprene gasket

You are supposed to put the new Mopar gasket on dry. I did, and it leaked live a sieve. I have an aluminum trans pan. Going to use "The Right Stuff" when I re-use it.

You probably have the same year(s) trans I do, check the front of the gasket with the contour of where it seals to the trans I bet they do not follow each other. Not sure if it's better to goop on sealant or just use a standard gasket.

I noticed that the new Mopar gasket didn't match up with my pan but it did match up with my trans. I've got 3 727s all '70 and older and all my pans look like this. I decided to give it a try anyway. So far so good and I've put about 100 miles on it. I'm thinking of getting a deep pan anyway so I can reuse this gasket.

I've built thousands of transmissions, ONLY use cork, and have NEVER had a leak from the pan gasket........Like already mentioned, the pan rail needs to be flat and then tighten correctly.....

with this however one of the big pluses with the new reusable gaskets is you can use it over and over and over for years to come try that with a cork or fiber gasket.
