What heads are you using? We shaved my 84cc Eddys down .090 and got the chambers to 64 cc for a 12-1 CR

Raff...I want the most compression I can get...My heads are 80cc but could be shaved to 75cc..Bill...I already know what you would...Errr are using!!
Ted, Why don't you quit diddlin' around with flat tops and just put DOME pistons in it? These are Ross #99501, won't fit your rods though, .990 pins. You can use #99500. Brian

ted it sounds like the wisco pistons you are looking at are the same ones that are in my 440 short block.my pistons are so posed to 0.012 down in the hole. with a 0.039 head gasket and a 74 cc Indy head i am so posed to only have 10.5 compression. but the Wallace engine calculator says i will have around 12.2. ted i would just buy some diamond 14cc dome pistons. they are so posed to be built to work with the edelbrock/ mopar aluminum heads. what happened to getting the the stoker kit?? Brian...Nice pistons!! Vern...You must have got a good buy to have 3 sets of 2295s... Bobby...I didn't go with the stroker...I know it would make more power but I really don't want to go that fast...The car just needs to be consistant..I have been buying a few trinkets all winter...My last major purchase is the pistons...Talked to the body guy last night and as soon as it warms up a bit,it goes in for paint and the Hemi front end treatment...Should look pretty good!! Mpar65, FWIW, Scott did a CR calcutaion with my pistons sitting .010 in the hole, a 039 head gasket, and figured a 74 CC chamber and came up with 11.09-1. When we actually milled the heads they cc'd at 64.6 cc's and he racalculated and we now have 12.05-1.
I'm not sure how my Pro Tru pistons compare with yours as far as vavle releif volume but I would think your problably in the 11-1 range.
