Yes I run that pan and have been for two years now. I really like it, no need to worry about ever hitting it on anything. It also has trap doors so the oil does NOT move away from the swinging pick up. Most dragsters around here don't shut the motors off either.

Allen, buy a Charlies oil pan with a deeper sump for your car I have used the dragster pans in acrs with cut up K members for them Most dragsters and funny cars shut the motors off in the lights and don't use the motors for deacceleration braking,(parachute ) all the oil is forced to the front of the pan on deacceleration braking giving the swinging pickup very little oil to provide to the motor during that time BTW, if your single line is working well why fix it
The single line is working but I've mashed the current pan flat so darn many times It looks like Heck! The last time I backed it into the shop I nailed the drain plug and had to pull the pan for welding. I want to lower the front of the car more but the current pan is holding me up on that.

That Charlie's pan looks like a nice piece. I don't think it would fit on my Alterkation since the front is not cut back any. I have not had any oil control problems with my Milodon, having pressure never go down below 50psi after letting off at the traps. But if the Charlie's fits and is cheaper it sounds like a good buy.

Charlie's Oil Pans does make an oil pan to fit the Alterkation, Magnaforce and LRT front ends on A Bodies. I currently am running one with a single line and swinging pick up with no issues on my 73 Duster. It is a 7 qt. pan and is a very nice piece for the money.

Here is a few pic of the Charlies pan from my Dragster/Indy engine. You can see the trap door in front of the swinging pickup. BTW this pan was cheaper than the Milodon
what does the charlies pan use for a windage tray
the milodon has a built in windage tray and crank scraper. i believe the milodon is for 4.3/4 stroke. it works fine in my 4.150 stroke

Standard 8qt Milodon or Moroso pan will clear a 4.5 stroke. Its the internal pickup tube (if utilized) will need some finessing. If using standard Mopar rod journal forget about the internal pickup tube all together. Im not sure a 2.2 rod journal will even have room. Looks like the New World block will clear 4.5 with internal pickup. Which at this point using a internal pickup would be like taking a shower, and throwing on dirty underwear LOL.
