If you can't hold it from turning with your other hand you probably have issues inside. "Everybody funny, now you funny too."

Blakcharger440 OP top fuel B Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 2,402 Wichita,KS	I started the car and shifted the trans to neutral. I do not have the driveshaft in yet. I am running a 85-140wt lube and I had the car running for about a couple of minutes so that I could "check" the trans before putting the driveshaft in.

The input shaft and the cluster gear is spinning whenever the engine is running and the clutch is engagedbecause its attached to the turning crankshft , the oil is causing it the spin . I wonder if ATF would be less likely to make it spin ?

Jim_Lusk I Live Here Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 18,678 Fresno, CA	I suspect with that weight oil it will be hard to shift, too. Especially when it's cold. I have 85-90 in my son's hemi four speed. And yes, the output shaft will spin with no load in nuetral.
