I do most of my running around within an hour or so from the house. I used to long haul for Mopars all the time. I don't know how many Chargers I pulled out of southern Texas, but those days are in my rear view mirror....

Were the 1989 to 1992 Throttle Body injection systems trouble prone? Biggest / most common issue was the pan on the metal pan on bottom of the intake leaked oil

Biggest / most common issue was the pan on the metal pan on bottom of the intake leaked oil I thought that was only on '93 - up on the magnum? Correct on the '94-up Magnums ("Kegger" intake): the stamped steel plate often lost it's seal, resulting in oil sukcing from the lifter valley- causing oil induced detionation, valve coking and whatever else. The 1st Gen TBI used a more traditional intake, which was a single piece casting.
