Probably just need to buy new metering plates. You might be able to send those plates to someone like BLP and get them to modify them but new plates is probably the easier way to go. The drill operation is a little tricky since they are at an compound angle plus they need to be tapped for the restriction jets.

Its a 1050 dom ... right? Does it have 3 bleeds(holes
in the air horn near the vent tube) or 2 air bleeds,
(2 or 3 on each side of the vent)
do they screw in?

Fuel exits into the main well , the channel restrictors are no more than 'holes' drilled through the metering block , no restrictors/jets in there to worry about , although you could drill & tap the channel restrictors for some aftermarket screw in restrictors , this would aid in fine tuning the PV circuit , even better you could fit some aftermarket blocks that will have all the removable bleeds/jets to get the job done.

Plug the PV & jet for a tad under 15:1 , reinstall PV & adjust channel restrictors for around 12:1 full throttle.

it being a 3 circuit has nothing to do with there being no PVCR.

this is an easy fix, if you have a drill press and a extra metering block with PVCR drilled, setup the drill press so you drill at the right angle and depth. then all you need to do is figure out what size you want the PVCR to be. done

some doms just are not drilled for a PV but with that being said, if the carb was to be built for a street car, it should have them

Way more to it than that, the PV hole is concave shape and provides a well for the PV operations. It would be hard to do this with out a all out machine shop, it would be real easy to mess them up. I would say without the required tooling it would be near impossible to do this.

Here is those metering blocks we was discussing through PM Wedge-o-.. I dont know what the NON power valve provisioned metering blocks look like, but im sticking to my guns saying that it would be hard to add this...Unless that part is already machined, but still finding that odd ball tap, will be both expensive and hard enough....A option might be to send your current ones off to maybe have them converted.... You can see the concave area I was speaking of clearly..

I've tried both. YES, a PV does make that much difference on the street. MUCH cleaner at part throttle, your spark plugs will thank you.

Was the carb set up forn the street originally? I do not know why they'd set that carb up for the street without power valves. The one on my hemi has a PV up front.
I use Pro Systems and have been extremely happy w/ both of the dominators I've gotten from them. And Patrick is a GREAT guy to deal with. CHIP

Hey Wedge , if you have to replace the blocks then it's only gonna be the front one , no big deal , why sell it.

Man after reading all of these threads on carburetors I am amazed that my 9375 stock out of the box plus jet extensions works No powervalves,no billet metering plates,no fancy throttle plates. Wedge just buy a new Holley, put jet extensions on it,set your base timing on 18 and jet it for your air.
