What do you know guys about that? I allways have known all 8 3/4" axles uses A7 bearing set, but a friend who need to replace the bearings on his 70 NewYorker had to return the A7 set he got and found he needed the A10 set

?????????.

Only difference is the width of the bearing A10 is narrower, not sure why he thought an A7 was wrong.

by the PN of the bearing installed, mostly sure by the previous owner, althought he thinks it was still the original from factory

A-10 is mostly for GM and Jeeps.

Definitely he was wrong thinking it was the factory assembly still on car. Sent me a pic of the axle and bearings were installed REVERSED, with small end cone toward inside... of course the adjuster plate got damaged too.

kinda wondered what was going on, seems someone before him messed things up and now he gets to deal with it, been there, done that.
