Hughes, but confirmed by Rick Roberts at Edelbrock. He's the production engineer on this head. That was the earlier version. Said the production heads #'s are a little better. I tend to believe him. Don't forget these are raised port (.750) , offset intake, and the valve laid down 2 degrees. I'll have them on the bench soon enough and we will all know.

I have had the CNC E-head in my hands.
If they go 330cfm on the bench I use I would fall over.

They have made lots of mistakes on this head that will need fixed

Make sure you take good picture of the oil drain back they put right in the intake bowl.

I will get a bare head and see what I can do with it.

And for around $2800.00 you could have set of w9s that will kill this head for power.
$1000 castings from Indy
$1250 CNC
$300 valve job
$100 surface
$150 blend CNC work and valve job
Don't take me the wrong way I am happy to see this head they have just make some bad calls on this head.

It is a nice casting and should hold lots of power on boost.

Can't compare runner volume without figureing out the length of the runner, clearly the eddy is longer than normal. Also can't the W9 and indy for that matter be used with existing pistons? The eddy has different valve angles/locations meaning different pistons for sure, not that it is a bad thing if they flow more and make more HP just more $$$.

W7-9 are kind of a custom piston also, the indy is the only one being mentioned here that is still stock valve angle

Is this Victor head a 48* or 59* head... if its a
48* I dont see why you cant compare it to the W-9..
I got my W-9 pistons from CP.. they were VERY NICE

I have seen them also, have a hard time seeing those flow numbers out of a small port.

Man this is great news finally available👍👍pricing seem respectable and I'm sure in great hands they will be great heads a guy like Brett will get them where they need to be hopefully this will spur. Mopar to build a block... there are a ton small block heads available now👏👏👏👏... I also have heard significantly lower flow numbers.but I have not seen the version that's being sold. If some one can squeeze 350 cfm at a reasonable lift number is all you need

im curious to the custom piston deal with the 16* valve angle as well. what about header bolt up. will my hedman race headers bolt up to these? same ex flange as indy 360-1?

Just one more thing that I don't get.
Threaded like hemi for head bolt stud....

Stock size 340 intake port.

I think casting has some potential but not the way it is right now.

You can see oil drain back hole dumps right on head bolt hole.

Runs right on long wall of port on a wedge head long wall is real important.

Add this to the premium cost IMHO not a home run.

12-18 month wait time. Waiting for foundery is what it lists when you try and order one, I wouldn't hold your hopes high on getting a new block, unless someone has some stashed somewhere.

Are those pics from SEMA or PRI? If so, that is the prototype head and a LOT has changed.

You can get a pro-port raw head right now, no waiting. Grab one and see what it will do!

This is PRI and was told by engineer on this head this is the production part.

I told him about oil drain back into intake port last year maybe they looked into this.

But head last year at PRI the oil hole was machined and this looks cast??

Just go back and look at your heads.

On first page.

Still has poor oil drain hole and threads in head bolt hole.
