what's the pro/con to just by-passing a transmission cooler on a dedicated 10 second bracket car?

what's the pro/con to just by-passing a transmission cooler on a dedicated 10 second bracket car? The one big problem with a bracket car is you want everything the same on every run.. no cooler and the trans temp climbs and it will change the stall point... put a large cooler on it and dont worry about the trans

If you really want to upgrade your transmission cooling system add a cooler and one of these. One of my racing Friends at Pittsburgh Raceway Park offers these. http://jonestransmissionpumps.com/

Is there room to mount one there with a fan on it? It certainly won't get any airflow if it's under the car

All good info, Probably go with the fan equiped at rear of car, and a temp gauge and auto temp control for sure.
