Justify a Fluke...buy it once, and it will last you forever.
(Long time Fluke owner personally)
awww man just had to do that didnt you. I've pulled lots of triggers lately

I bought mine in the early - mid 90's or so. Saved up for it, but knew it would last me. (If you didn't mind analog, vintage stuff is good too..I have a bit of that around too, just for the heck of it. )

I have a Simpson 260 that is older than all your Flukes. Analog to be sure. But all voltages, resistances and current measurements are analog anyway with no +/- 1 of the last digit error of all digital meters. It is also easier to tune for maximum with a analog meter. I have 7 of the meters Harbor Freight gives away. Disposable but can be in the back of all my vehicles with four spares. I blew up a very expensive Beckman digital meter when I arced over a high voltage circuit years ago. I gave up a lab grade meters for daily use. I know where to borrow one if I need it. Craig

Revolting perhaps, but I had too. You won't find any resistance from me...

Check on Ebay, you can find some good deals on used ones there. I have been using the same Blue-Point meter for 15 years until it got crushed. Got the same model on E-Bay that looked new for $50.
The only Carbs I care about are under the hood!
