I'll stay out of the p*ssing contest, but aftermarket drum or not I have a good shield on my car....the CSR are nice, and the blankets can be a pain, but if you have a stock firewall and are using stock type motor mounts the shields can be a real bear when trying install the motor...I hammered the firewall/floor seem-lip flat and it was still a real PITA getting it in, I had to remove the motor mounts and position the engine in, then re-install the mounts once it was all in place, not a real enjoyable job...while doin this I would have traded the shield for a blanket..lol....this is just my experience...
