PBS now has a special they are using in their fund raisers about the rock/then Country group Exile. I watched it last night, enjoyed it, and learned a lot.
When it was a cheap to hire band in 1973 I remember when they played a High School graduation dance, and in the hot stuffy gym then lead singer Jimmy Stokley peeled his T shirt off.
The strict Baptist Church goer who was Principle of that High School then cut the electric power to Exile’s instruments, declared the dance over, and ordered everyone to leave immediately.
