Went back and read a few reply's, the guys are right hats too many threads showing. I someone hasn't already suggested, a easy and quick fix, is a set of lash caps. Standard valve diameter is 3/8, after market like Eddy, Indy etc use 11/32, and Hemis are even smaller, get some thick ones..Like .080-.100 thick that have the small oil hole in them...Shouldn't run you no more than $40 shipped from the parts store.

Even with lash caps that would take up .0416 per turn
on the adjuster so thats about 2 1/2 turns(if they
were .100 thick) still leaving 4 threads showing,
he NEEDS push rods... at the correct length.

But I have a question..... what part of the rocker
are you burning up.... the push rod cup at the rocker
.... or where the rocker is riding on the shaft.
If your burning the cup... that hole that sprays the
oil is shooting the oil to a certain spot and the cup
is no where near that point(1 1/2 threads)
