If you hook it up to a laptop, and have someone available with the know how, you may be able to improve upon it for your application. The Holley software does a very poor job of building a timing table. I highly recommend using a computer to smooth the timing table. A laptop is a nice way to do it since you can sit in the car and make changes as the engine runs, but it isn't required. The SD card can be popped out of the handheld and inserted into a desktop computer which has the Holley software. After the program is changed the SD card is put back in the handheld and the new program is uploaded to the Sniper.
