My friend did use the shorty 727 and it was a pain in the A body. Hes having a Trans shop install it and they are just butchering the tunnel to fit it. I was curious about the E body install mostly with standard length trans. What was the length of driveshaft after install. Being its a 70 Cuda the drive shaft is shorter already and its a pain with the stock drive shaft angle as the car is lower than stock. Im thinking if I were to convert from 727 I would go 518 instead.
