For a CalTrac-equipped car that's been using the original 5-way Ranchos, what would be viable (and affordable) options to upgrade to DA rear shocks? It's a street/strip E-body that's gone 1.45-1.46 60-fts. on 275R15 ET Street Radials.

I'm seeing references to Vi-King, Strange, Afco (and?) above, so I'm "all ears" not having used any of them. I do currently have QA-1 "R" series on the front, though. Thanks. - Brad



The Vi-kings are the most affordable. I've been doing a lot of research on them lately b/c I need to upgrade to D/A shocks from my Rancho 9000s. The Ranchos have worked good on my car running mid 9s N/A, but I think they just aren't up to the task of handling my car on nitrous.
