Who? Personally I spent 2 years on high school learning the trade only to go on to Vo tech to relearn what the instructor in HS taught us. Now been out of Vo tech since 1994 and have taught my self more with experience. You will only learn so much from that. I'd go to a junk yard ask if they have any ruined fenders that you could practice on. Easier to mess up a junk fender than a good fender for an older car. Play around with fixing dents, mud work, priming, painting, buffing.
