I tried theirs as well but the texture was way to strong as compared to my original samples. To be fair it might have been an application issue on my part but I did follow the directions to the letter......Twice.
I agree with Scott, when I use PPG's lacquer I have them leave out the suede additive because it is much too gritty with it. Without the suede it still has a little texture that seems just about right.
