Thanks for the the info. I'm begenning to think my issues might be with my water pump. With the current water pump, the 2 pads that the pump mounts to are not on the same plane, the lower tab seems to stick out further which limits my adjustment to align the pulley's. I have another water pump with even mounting pads, but they exit the water on the passenger side, and i just bought a brand new radiator for the driver side.

I'm thinking of taking an angle grinder to even up the power steering mounting pads, can anyone give me a good reason not to do so?
