Thats my opinion also...mine are screwed and I stopped balancing them years ago. If you really want to keep the weights on smooth some RTV over them and they will stay.
I've never had a problem with the stick on weights and putting Duct tape over them... thats what I see the pros do so its good enough for my junk
Exactly what I do. With Slicks, I screwed them in. But now that I run Drag Radials, I glue them.
