I put the Mopar truck pan on the Dart (383). Fits great with the Alterktion suspension. I used the MP tray too, put some holes in it and chamfered them a bit.

I typically put a thin coat of gasket maker on the gasket itself. Just enough to help it stay in place and fill any small imperfections but not enough to make a mess.
